Visitor and Participant Liability Waiver

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT. By submitting your RSVP to attend, you waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue for ordinary negligence. This Waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law.

1. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES & RISKS

I understand that my presence at, and/or participation in, any activities organized or permitted by Fancy Film Post Services (“Company”) may involve certain risks. These may include, but are not limited to:

• Walking through office areas with cords, cables, or equipment present.
• Using or being near audiovisual, post-production, or electrical equipment.
• Moving or carrying objects.
• Participating in filming, recording, or live productions.
• Exposure to lighting equipment and trip hazards.
• General hazards associated with being in a working production environment.
• Use of outdoor areas, including stairs, pathways, and uneven surfaces, which may involve trip or fall hazards.

I understand that injuries could include trips, falls, strains, or other accidents.

2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I VOLUNTARILY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL RISKS of injury, illness, damage, or loss arising from my participation or presence on Company premises, even if arising from the negligence of the Company or its representatives.

3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, AND FOREVER DISCHARGE the Company, its owners, officers, employees, independent contractors, agents, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising from ordinary negligence in connection with my presence or participation. This release does NOT apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or rights that cannot legally be waived.

4. INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the Company and the parties listed above from any claims, demands, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) brought by me or any third party arising from my actions or participation.

5. MEDICAL CONSENT

In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Company to secure medical care for me at my expense.

6. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Los Angeles County.

7. ELECTRONIC ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By submitting my RSVP to attend, I agree to the terms of this Agreement.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I acknowledge that I have read this entire Agreement, had the opportunity to ask questions, and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge and agree to it freely and voluntarily.
