- Observe a professional post-production house in Silver Lake.
- See how finishing, color, conform, deliverables, editing, mixing, Atmos, VO, and ADR recording fit together.
- Shadow technical operations, colorists, audio editors, online editors, finishing producers, and facility managers when schedules allow.
- Learn how tools like DaVinci Resolve, Avid, and Premiere Pro show up in day-to-day post work.
Responsibilities
What interns may help with.
- Complete quality control watchdowns of projects.
- Assist with client session setup in audio and picture bays.
- Shadow and learn from Fancy staff.
- Help with hard drive management and organization.
- Assist with client services duties.
- Attend to reception duties.
Requirements
In-person, credit-eligible, and hands-on.
- This is an in-person, unpaid internship.
- Applicants must be able to receive class credit for the internship or receive external funding.
- Interns should be available at least two days a week for a minimum of eight hours per day.
- Good communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential.
- No on-set or technical skills are required.
