Audio description and closed captions

Make the finished film accessible.

Bring the delivery specification into the conversation early. File formats, timing, versions, and approved-vendor requirements affect the work, even when the film itself is finished.

Audio description

Visual storytelling, voiced.

Audio description conveys visual information through narration. Fancy offers writing, voice, mix, and delivery support, scoped to your film or series.

Closed captions

Dialogue, timing, and sound cues.

Fancy creates or coordinates English captions. We review the available script or transcript and confirm timing, sound cues, required file formats, and review against your delivery specification.

Explore our dedicated audio-description service, including voice options and its project inquiry form.

CCSL and as-broadcast scripts

The right document for the delivered version.

A caption file, a CCSL, and an as-broadcast script serve different delivery needs. Send the specification and required template so we can confirm the document, detail, and versions before quoting.

CCSL

Combined Continuity and Spotting List

If your delivery list calls for a CCSL, send the specification and a sample or required template. We will review the continuity detail, dialogue, spotting, and versions before confirming the scope and price.

As-broadcast script

A timecoded record of the finished program.

Send the delivered cut, available transcript, native frame rate, and required template. We will scope transcription or cleanup, speaker identification, song lyrics where required, timecoding, document formatting, and review against the master.

Start with your delivery list

Send the requirements. We will help define the work.

Include the film or series title, runtime, deadline, language, cut status, and required versions. Attach the delivery list and any templates, and tell us what scripts, transcripts, or caption files you already have.

Send your delivery list for a quote.

Already have captions? Corrections, conversion, or integration into a master or DCP are scoped separately from creating a new caption file.

We confirm the work, review, formatting, vendor requirements, and schedule before work begins. Changes to the cut or additional versions may need a revised scope.
